Automatic Gun Armed Interceptor

His powerplant is an aged radial piston engine of around 2,200 hp. His armament are six 20mm automatic guns with 250 rounds per gun, enclosed in a moveable spherical turret. The machine can intercept a target (an incoming nuclear-armed heavy bomber) using his dipole radar antennae and can switch to optical sensors (IR and visible) to approach to target and to aim the turret guns. The drone fighter can be monitored or piloted remotely by encoded radio signals. Recovery is by parachute. Near-suicide point-blank gun firing is possible.
